DJ Anvi
Anvi — Jerry Lai from Portland, USA — is a Brazilian Zouk dancer, teacher and DJ known for atmospheric, narrative sets that blend the familiar with the unexpected.
His music does not follow only one simple line. It moves through contrast: ecstasy and release, hope and mystery, tenderness and temptation. His sets can feel deep, playful, emotional and beautifully unorthodox — always inviting dancers into a journey rather than just a playlist.
Anvi’s sound usually sits on the more original, creative and unexpected side of the spectrum. He brings music that opens space for exploration, while still keeping the pulse and sensibility of Brazilian Zouk alive.
With a style that is journeying, eclectic and deep, Anvi creates soundscapes that wake up the senses and invite dancers to listen, feel and move with curiosity.
For Slovenian Zouk Marathon, Anvi brings a different colour to the floor: atmospheric, creative and full of contrast — perfect for dancers who love to be surprised, moved and carried into the flow.
Music vibe: journeying, eclectic, deep, creative, unexpected.
